We are now inviting applications for a Senior Lecturer in Dental Hygiene to lead the development of the first BSc (Hons) Dental Hygiene course to be delivered in the Three Counties Dental School. This role offers a rare opportunity to shape, develop, and deliver innovative dental care education as part of the School’s growing portfolio. Once in post, you will be uniquely placed to contribute to the ongoing development of the Three Counties Dental School, supporting its vision as a transformative centre of excellence in dental education that will equip students with the specialist skills required for their future careers, while helping address a recognised regional workforce shortage in dental care professionals.

You must hold a current General Dental Council (GDC) registration as a Dental Hygienist or Dental Therapist to be considered for this role. This post requires an Enhanced DBS check. As this is a Senior Lecturer role you will be expected to have a Post Graduate Certificate in Education or be actively working towards this. Whilst based at our site at City Campus, Gloucester, the role holder may be required to work at any University site or any other reasonable location where the University is undertaking its business.
