About the role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and empathetic individual to join our Career Studio team as a Career Coach. You’ll be at the heart of the student experience, providing high‑quality career support both in‑person and online. To support our growing campus communities, you will spend time across all four campuses each week (FCH, Park, Oxstalls and City), supported by other members of the Careers and Employability Team.
As a Career Coaching and Engagement professional located in the Career Studio, your main responsibilities will involve both offering personalised career support to students and graduates and contributing to the wider goal of engaging as many students as possible with the activities run by the Careers and Employability Team. Operating across all UoG campuses, this will be a hands‑on and flexible role where every day is different.
At the University of Gloucestershire, we are committed to fostering a vibrant, inclusive, and supportive community where every student feels valued and empowered. We are also committed to building a diverse and inclusive staff community and welcome applications from currently under‑represented sections of our workforce. We are proud to be a Disability Confident Leader, guaranteeing an interview to everyone who meets the definition of disability set out in the Equality Act 2010 and the essential criteria contained within the person specification.
