This role will join the School of Arts, Culture and Environment’s management team as a 0.5 FTE Associate Head of School for Quality and Student Success. It is a six‑month secondment starting on 1 September 2026 and ending on 1 March 2027. The post is open to Grade 8 and above.
Responsibilities:
- Chairing Module Boards of Examiners and Assessment Scrutiny Process meetings.
- Investigating student appeals and complaints.
- Working on strategies for the National Student Survey and Graduate Outcomes survey and assisting with the university’s Teaching Excellence Framework preparations.
- Supporting course teams working on the university’s revalidation project.
- Supporting colleagues and collaborative partners with quality‑related issues.
- Leading the school’s Annual Course Enhancement and Monitoring activity.
- Contributing to university committees and initiatives.
