The predicted salary is between 55300 - 65000 £ per year.
To play a significant role in the development and delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and assessment in Special Care Dentistry. You will work collaboratively as part of a large team to develop and deliver on areas of dental education that require a multidisciplinary approach. You will be expected to participate fully in management and administration of the Dental School, including contributing to agenda setting and supporting the development of strategic priorities at a senior level.
The primary focus of the role is Learning. Must have full registration prior to start date.
- Completion of UK specialist training pathway in Special Care Dentistry or equivalent.
- Eligible for inclusion on the GDC Specialist List in Special Care Dentistry; must be registered with the GDC on the Specialist List prior to start date.
- Master’s degree or Higher Research Degree.
Desirable:
- Fellowship in Dental Surgery, MFDS from one of the Royal Surgical Colleges or equivalent.
- Hold, be working towards or willing to complete a certificate in Academic Practice, or equivalent learning and teaching qualification.

- Experience of design and delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in Special Care Dentistry.

- Experience in academic assessment of dental students.
- Experience of mentoring students and/or staff.
- Evidence of continuing scholarship.
- Established quality research record, educational research or Learning, Teaching.
