b Overview /b p In this senior role you lead the Counselling, Wellbeing and Disability Services to support student success, inclusion, and wellbeing. You will shape strategy with the S A Services leadership, drive service improvements, and partner with Schools, Colleges and external bodies. You’ll oversee compliance and quality assurance in a large organisation, ensuring evidence-informed support for students. This is an opportunity to influence the student experience at scale and advance wellbeing and accessibility across the university. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li 41 days of leave for full-time staff /li li pension and benefits package /li li flexible working arrangements /li li health and wellbeing support /li li free 6-month UofG Sport membership for new staff /li li relocation assistance where appropriate /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Contribute to Directorate strategy and KPI delivery within S A Services, aligning with university objectives /li li Lead professional, administrative, operational and technical support structures to ensure priority delivery and meet targets /li li Horizon-scan trends, legislation and sector expectations to future-proof performance and report potential operating-model changes /li li Oversee financial planning and manage financial strategy for the areas of responsibility /li li Guide performance reviews and benchmarking to improve student experience, success and outcomes /li li Develop external partnerships and networks (NHS, professional bodies, third-sector) to enhance reputation and collaboration /li li Lead change programmes and drive efficiency improvements in service delivery to students /li li Ensure governance, regulatory compliance and best practices across disability, equality and student support /li li Contribute to university-wide process improvements and alignment with strategic expectations /li li Develop a framework for accreditation, regulatory compliance and quality assurance with external bodies /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Experience leading complex student support services, including mental health, wellbeing, disability and inclusion /li li Proven track record in strategy development, change management and delivering measurable improvements /li li Strong leadership of multidisciplinary teams and ability to influence at senior levels /li li Experience in financial planning, governance and quality assurance in a large organisation /li li Significant understanding of student mental health and disability legislation and inclusive delivery /li li Ability to build partnerships with internal stakeholders and external bodies /li /ul ul li Excellent communication and interpersonal skills /li li Strategic leadership and capability as a business partner /li li Resilience and momentum management /li li Governance and business process knowledge in a large organisation /li li Financial management within budgetary controls and analytics /li li Change management and programme delivery /li /ul
