Our client is seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales / Account Manager (AM) to join their company in Sunninghill Gauteng. This role is ideal for a professional who excels at building strong client relationships, driving sales, and delivering IT solutions including services, hardware, and software.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Business, IT, Marketing, or a related field
- Sales certifications such as Certified Professional Sales Person (CPSP) or equivalent (advantageous)
- IT-related certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, or vendor-specific hardware/software) are a plus
- Proven experience in IT sales, account management, or business development, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Knowledge of IT services, hardware, and software solutions
- Strong relationship management and client-facing skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and proactive in pursuing business opportunities
Job Duties
- Identify and acquire new business opportunities in IT services, hardware, and software solutions
- Manage and grow existing client accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention
- Develop and present IT solutions proposals tailored to client needs
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure client requirements are understood and delivered
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and account performance updates
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies
Salary
R25,000 β R30,000 per month, dependent on experience.
