UF College of Medicine – Jacksonville is seeking to hire Emergency Medicine physicians (up to full time) to join UF Health at Durbin Park in St. Johns, Florida. We are seeking candidates with broad clinical experience in community emergency medicine. Candidate must be MD or DO, Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine with experience in all aspects of evaluation and treatment of patients.
Duties include:
- Provide high-quality patient care in all aspects of Emergency Medicine
- Work collaboratively with members of the healthcare team including nurse practitioners, nursing staff, pharmacists, etc.
- Responsible for excellent communication with patients, staff, consulting services and other specialty providers
- Participate in peer review, quality assurance, provider/departmental meetings, and other clinical and operational meetings as requested.

Expected Salary: Commensurate with education and experience.
Required Qualifications: Licensed to practice medicine in accordance with Chapter 458, Florida Statutes plus four years of appropriate experience. Completion of a residency program may substitute for the required experience.
Preferred:
- Certification/Licensure in the state of Florida and Federal DEA Certification.
- Medical Degree – M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent.
- Board certified in the appropriate subspecialty.
- Completion of an accredited residency program.
