The Department of Surgery at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville is seeking an up to full‑time Otorhinolaryngologist at the non‑tenure accruing level of Clinical Assistant/Associate/Professor in the Division of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery. The Division is a tertiary referral center that serves the population of Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia and houses the divisions of General Surgery/Surgical Oncology, Otorhinolaryngology, Plastic Surgery, Trauma/Acute Care/Critical Care, and Vascular Surgery.
We are transforming the Division of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery to serve our growing community through multidisciplinary care and collaboration. Subspecialty centers of clinical excellence in hearing, voice, olfaction, as well as head and neck surgery, facial plastic/reconstruction are focus areas and will be further developed to meet our vision of being the region’s most valued surgical health care asset. The division will also provide general otorhinolaryngology services, strengthen pediatric capabilities and allergy care, and continue to grow in Northeast Florida with a new hospital and outpatient facility in the Durbin Park area.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Provide and maintain a high level of quality in-patient specialty and/or sub‑specialty care services in Otorhinolaryngology.
- Provide clinical teaching of trainees if applicable and participate in the educational program.
- Be responsible for excellent communication with primary care physicians.
- Assist in marketing the Otorhinolaryngology programs to community physicians and managed care organizations.
- Participate in division and department meetings, administrative functions and institutional committees as requested.

Required Qualifications: Candidates should have a MD/DO in Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. BE/BC is preferred. Subspecialty training in Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology, Rhinology/Skull Base Surgery, Laryngology or General Otorhinolaryngology preferred.
