Duties
- Work closely with Chair of the Department of Urology, Jacksonville, regarding strategy, budgeting, operations, and academic affairs.
- Lead the patient care team, collaborating with clinic leadership to ensure efficient, high-quality operations.
- Work with the practice manager to develop the budget and improve clinic processes.
- Foster a positive, professional work environment with strong communication and teamwork.
- Participate in staff and provider meetings to address concerns and implement improvements.
- Ensure safe and effective clinic operations for patients, staff, and physicians.
- Serve as a liaison between the clinic and key leadership to support operations and resolve issues.
- Optimize billing and reimbursement processes in collaboration with Accounts Receivable.
- Keep leadership informed on practice updates, challenges, and initiatives.
- Attend medical director and provider meetings, contributing to committees and task forces as needed.
- Oversee daily clinical operations, supervising providers and the practice manager to maintain high patient-care standards.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed to practice medicine in Florida in accordance with Chapter 458, Florida Statutes plus five years of appropriate experience.
- Completion of a residency program may substitute for the required experience.
- Federal DEA Certification.
Preferred
- Medical degree – MD, DO, or foreign equivalent.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology.
