Classification Minimum Requirements

Licensed to practice medicine in accordance with Chapter 458, Florida Statutes* plus four years of appropriate experience.

  • Work closely with Chair of the Department of Urology, Jacksonville, regarding strategy, budgeting, operations, and academic affairs.
  • Lead the patient care team, collaborating with clinic leadership to ensure efficient, high‑quality operations.
  • Work with the practice manager to develop the budget and improve clinic processes.
  • Foster a positive, professional work environment with strong communication and teamwork.
  • Participate in staff and provider meetings to address concerns and implement improvements.
  • Ensure safe and effective clinic operations for patients, staff, and physicians.
  • Serve as a liaison between the clinic and key leadership to support operations and resolve issues.
  • Optimize billing and reimbursement processes in collaboration with Accounts Receivable.
  • Keep leadership informed on practice updates, challenges, and initiatives.
  • Attend medical director and provider meetings, contributing to committees and task forces as needed.
  • Oversee daily clinical operations, supervising providers and the practice manager to maintain high patient‑care standards.
  • Required Qualifications
  • Licensed to practice medicine in Florida in accordance with Chapter 458, Florida Statutes plus five years of appropriate experience.
