Temporary Customer Service Assistants (REF: C00284)

Location: Streatham Campus – Exeter

Start Date: March onwards, depending on availability

End Date: Ongoing, depending on availability

Weekly hours: Variable (up to 36.5 hours per week)

Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour (including holiday provision)

Summary of the role:

We are seeking motivated team members to join our catering team at Streatham campus. The role involves providing excellent customer service, working both independently and as part of a team, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and adhering to food hygiene and safety regulations. Training and uniform will be provided. The position offers flexible hours up to 36.5 hours per week based on business needs. Candidates should have good communication skills and a flexible approach to working hours.

Responsibilities include:

• Promoting our products and services, and engaging with customers to enhance sales and brand image.
• Serving customers courteously and handling payments.
• Preparing and serving food and beverages in line with HACCP and brand standards.
• Supporting delivery, stock control, and inventory management.
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Assisting with daily operational tasks as directed by supervisors.
• Ensuring personal hygiene and conduct meet high standards.
• Adhering to health and safety standards, including manual handling and mandatory training.
