About The Role
This full-time post is available immediately on a permanent basis. The starting salary will be from £28,029 to £30,339 on Grade C, depending on knowledge, skills and experience.
Summary of the Role
An opportunity has arisen for a Semi-Skilled Building Maintenance Operative based on the Streatham Campus. The role involves joining a small team of operatives to provide a high level of service as part of the Electrical, Mechanical & Structural Services teams. The main responsibilities include:
- Maintain gutters and gullies.
- Maintain footpaths.
- Supply and install scaffolding towers.
- Carry out other maintenance tasks, including installation of fixtures and fittings.
- Work safely and comply with health and safety legislation.
- Drive vans where required (valid UK driving licence essential).
- Use initiative to prioritise work demands and meet deadlines.
