The predicted salary is between 27528 - 27528 £ per year.
This full-time permanent post is available to start immediately. Pro rata salary: £25,528 plus additional pro rata shift allowance of £2,100 pa. A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic sport-minded professional to join our team as an Operational Assistant at the University of Exeter Sports Office.
Work across the Sports Office’s three sites: St Lukes Sports Centre, Cornwall House Outdoor Swimming Pool, and the Sports Park (Streatham Campus), covering for the Duty Manager during periods of annual leave and sickness as required. Ensure the efficient, safe operation of all three sites, providing lifeguarding, high levels of customer service, setting up and putting down equipment, and maintaining cleanliness of all facilities. Maintain accurate record‑keeping and reporting for site usage and incidents.
Qualifications:
- NPLQ, Pool Plant Operators Certificate, and First Aid at Work qualification (training will be provided if not already held).
- Experience in a similar environment dealing with a varied cross‑section of customers.
- Knowledge of health and safety issues relevant to sporting and leisure facilities.
- Proactive approach, attention to detail and team‑mindset.
