This part-time (0.5 FTE) post is available immediately until April 2027. Applications for secondments will be considered subject to agreement from your current line manager. Salary will be £30,628 per annum pro rata on Grade D subject to knowledge, skills and experience. This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home. We welcome applications from candidates interested in working part-time hours or job-sharing arrangements.
Key Responsibilities
- Diary management, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements for Heads of Department.
- Expense claims and purchase orders in compliance with university financial and HR policies.
- Onboarding new starters and managing office operations including room bookings, IT equipment, and parking permits.
- Coordinating Vivas, Programme Boards, internal events, and guest speaker series.
- Temporary staffing and Postgraduate Teaching Assistant (PTA) administration.
- Producing the fortnightly UEBS newsletter and scanning/distributing MCQ results.
