Overview

External Engagement and Global (0.75 FTE, 27.38 hours per week) post is available immediately on a fixed-term basis until 31 December 2026 to cover a period of maternity leave. The starting salary will be from £33,951 on Grade E, depending on qualifications and experience.

Summary of the role

The Campaigns Team in Strategic Marketing is looking for a motivated communications and marketing professional to join us in a role focused on protecting and enhancing the University’s brand and reputation. As part of a creative and collaborative team, the post holder will support the planning and delivery of communications and brand-led campaigns that engage key audiences—both nationally and internationally. You will help to develop compelling, on-brand content for use across a range of platforms (including the University website, social media, digital campaigns and internal communications), ensuring consistency of voice and alignment with our institutional values. You’ll also play a key role in evaluating campaign performance and embedding a culture of continual learning and improvement, helping us to stay ahead of sector trends and best practice. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of audience engagement, brand storytelling, and reputation management, who enjoys working in a fast-paced and purpose-driven environment.
