Student Immigration Administrator

Location: Exeter (Hybrid)
Contract: Fixed‑term contract
Salary: £30,628 per annum pro rata on Grade D, subject to knowledge, skills and experience.

About the Role

This part‑time (0.8 FTE) post is available from 1 August 2026 on a fixed‑term basis to cover a secondment until 31 July 2027, subject to agreement from your current line manager. The role is based in the CAS Team within the International Student Community and Support and offers the opportunity for hybrid working, with some time on campus and some from home.

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist administrative support throughout the CAS process, ensuring international applicants are issued with CAS in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Deliver an excellent level of customer service to applicants, students and colleagues.
  • Offer expert guidance to applicants, students and colleagues on completing the CAS process.
  • Support other immigration compliance and international student support related tasks across the year.

Qualifications

  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Knowledge, skills and experience relevant to immigration administration (subject to salary band).
