About The Role

Business Development Officer. This full‑time post is available immediately on a fixed‑term basis until 18 June 2027, covering maternity leave. Applications for secondments will be considered subject to agreement from your current line manager. The starting salary is from £33,951 on Grade E, depending on knowledge, skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively engage with new and current employer partners to recruit apprentices and manage ongoing relationships.
  • Work effectively and flexibly within a wider relationship management team in a busy environment to deliver an excellent, customer‑focused and seamless service.
  • Gain an in‑depth knowledge of apprenticeship regulations and the programmes offered by the University.

Qualifications

Applications from experienced business development and account management professionals with knowledge of the relevant sectors will be welcome.

Location & Working Arrangements

Exeter (Hybrid – some time on campus and some from home).

Compensation & Benefits

The starting salary will be from £33,951 on Grade E, depending on knowledge, skills and experience. Benefits include:
