**Please note, this vacancy is only open to internal academic members of staff**The Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Education) is the senior academic leadership position responsible for student education and experience within the University. They are a member of the University’s executive leadership team and report directly to the Vice-Chancellor. The PVC (Education) has responsibility for shaping and delivering the University’s educational portfolio, which relates to both undergraduate and postgraduate education, and to the academic and the extra-curricular experience of the University’s students. They are responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of the education strategy, in collaboration with the broader educational leadership team, faculties, departments and other members of the University’s Executive Committee.The Acting Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Education) will serve in the role from as soon as possible, ideally from 1 October 2026, until the end of the 2026/27 academic year in the first instance.
