The Change and Transformation Manager will lead and deliver the KTP project. The duties of the post will include:

  • Undertaking full induction into post, building strong working relationships with colleagues within HCT and UoE.
  • Convene and attend Local Management Committee (LMC) meetings and other working groups with stakeholders as required.
  • Producing research and project plans, business cases, strategy reports and delivering mini projects.
  • Undertaking research into relevant topics and key literature, analysing qualitative and quantitative data, and writing up and communicating results.
  • Engaging with external organisations (other than HCT and UoE) as required, such as advocacy and service user groups, universities, NHS, UKHSA, and His Majesty's Prison Service.
  • Embedding knowledge, training and upskilling HCT staff.
  • Participating in academic and/or industrial conferences and other events, to disseminate and present research outcomes to the wider community.
  • Acting as project lead, progressing the project and ensuring milestones are met in a timely manner.
  • These duties are a guide to the work that the post holder will initially be required to undertake. They may be changed from time to time to meet changing circumstances.

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in Humanities/Social Sciences (Essential)
  • Postgraduate degree in Organisational Strategy, Change Management/Leadership, Diversification Strategy or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience (Desirable)

Experience and Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of strategic thinking, business strategy and organisational transformation.
  • Skilled in the practical application of project management methodologies.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and influence effectively across multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience in conducting research, including reviewing and synthesising research, project evaluation and writing reports.
  • Demonstrated capacity to apply transparent, analytical, and systematic problem-solving approaches.
  • Proficient in core IT applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

At the Hepatitis C Trust, our aspiration is to broaden our delivery of peer-led support models for marginalised or disadvantaged communities, guided by lived experience, to an increased number of communities and wider range of purposes than previously. The project will support the HCT in thinking about diversification of their current offering as well as bringing a new perspective on programme design for return-to-work practice. Comparative analysis of other lived-experience support programmes in other countries will provide context and learning opportunities. Due to the nature of the work, this appointment is subject to a criminal record check, known as a Disclosure.
