The Opportunity: Based within our busy Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) Service at the Hospital for Small Animals at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, this ECC internship is the perfect launching pad for those considering further clinical training in this field, as well as those wishing to return to private practice.
The ECC intern will gain extensive clinical experience in managing critically ill patients whilst working alongside board-certified specialists in ECC. The successful applicant will work a combination of days, evenings, nights and weekends within a well-equipped Intensive Care Unit and Emergency Room. The intern will also be paired with a mentor, to assist with pursuing a research project and guidance on career progression.
