As a Systems Engineer you will play an important role in supporting the research and teaching computing needs of the School of Informatics. The School is the largest institution of this kind in the UK and one of the largest in Europe. It carries out research in a wide range of areas including computing science, AI, robotics, security and quantum computing. This is an exciting opportunity for someone seeking to develop their knowledge and skills in Linux server management. In this role you will assist with management of the School’s virtualisation services, support the on-premises server estate and assist users of the Linux platform.

This post is full-time (35 hours per week); however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
