The University of Edinburgh is a world-class organisation. The Health, Safety and Wellbeing Department is part of the Corporate Services Group and provides a range of key activities that help the University to achieve its corporate objectives. This role will lead on the provision of specialist advice for the University and provide leadership to the Heads of the Radiation Protection, Biosafety and Chemical Safety Units. The role will involve implementing the strategy to deliver competent advice and services effectively for the University community.

This post is full-time (35 hours per week) and will be based at Charles Stewart House, 9-16 Chambers Street, Edinburgh; however, we are open to considering flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
