We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Clinical Cleaner to join our hospital team. This post plays a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean, and hygienic clinical environment. Working within a busy referral hospital setting, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high‑quality cleaning across clinical and non‑clinical areas, ensuring standards are consistently met in line with infection control policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine and deep cleaning of clinical areas including wards, treatment rooms, isolation areas, and shared spaces.
  • Follow infection prevention and control procedures to minimise the risk of cross‑contamination and hospital‑acquired infections.
  • Clean and maintain equipment and high‑touch surfaces to a high standard.
  • Respond flexibly to urgent cleaning requirements as clinical activity fluctuates.
  • Safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance with COSHH guidance.
  • Work collaboratively with clinical and non‑clinical staff to support safe hospital operations.
  • Maintain accurate cleaning records where required.
