Position Details Grade UE04: £26,093 to £28,778 per annum pro‑rata if part‑time (£14.30 – £15.77 per hour) plus a 5 % premium band for flexible working. Full time: 35 hours per week, working on a 5‑over‑7 basis including weekends and varied shift patterns typically between 7 am – 6 pm. Fixed‑term: from 18 May 2026 to 13 Sep 2026.

Opportunity: We are looking for positive, enthusiastic and dedicated people with a strong customer focus to help maintain high cleaning and housekeeping standards across our accommodation.

Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for all aspects of linen operations across multiple buildings.
  • Plan stock requirements in line with business levels, adjust stock as needed, and ensure accurate distribution of linen to the housekeeping teams.
  • Oversee correct counting and recording of both clean and used linen.
  • Follow up directly with the linen supplier regarding any discrepancies.
  • Support the Team Supervisor and a team of eight Linen Assistants in ensuring efficient distribution, collection, and counting of linen.
  • Manage all aspects of team performance, including workload allocation.
  • Work weekends on a rota basis for the duration of the contract, with flexibility for changing working patterns and locations.
  • Commit to the entire fixed‑term period of employment.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality.
  • Keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering excellent service.
  • Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a wide range of colleagues and customers.
  • Experience in workload allocation to team members.
  • Supervisory skills desirable.
