About the Role

For this post, we are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated EAP practitioners to teach on our BALEAP‑accredited pre‑sessional programme on campus in Edinburgh in Summer 2026. The role is full‑time (35 hours per week) and offers a 5‑day paid induction. You will join an experienced and supportive teaching and professional services team at a leading Russell Group university, working with highly motivated students to prepare them to confidently join their academic communities at the University of Edinburgh. We pride ourselves on creating a dynamic working environment where you can develop yourself as an EAP practitioner, whether you are experienced or in the earlier stages of your EAP career. We offer a competitive salary with three possible entry points within the UE07 grade in recognition of your demonstrated experience and teaching practice.

Responsibilities

  • Use English Language Education’s (ELE) in‑house materials to plan and teach lessons.
  • Provide formative and summative feedback to students.
  • Mark final assessments on the University of Edinburgh’s Pre‑Sessional Programme.
  • Embrace reflective practice and professional development.
  • Commit to dignity, respect and collegiality within the teaching environment.
