The predicted salary is between 38785 - 38785 £ per year.

Grade TR01: £30,000.00 per annum plus £8,785.71 compulsory contractual overtime (total £38,785.71 pa). An additional allowance of £1,800.00 per annum will be applied upon joining the Call Out Rota at 6 months service. Additional Call Out Payments will also be applied. Full-time: 35 hours per week, plus 7.5 hours compulsory contractual overtime per week. Open-ended (permanent).

Responsibilities:

  • Joiner in a multi-disciplined team providing exceptional customer services to an expanding world-class estate.
  • Carry out reactive and planned maintenance using an electronic maintenance system via smartphone.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a complex estate with tasks including minor works, alterations, refurbishments or new installations as required.
  • Participate in the emergency call-out rota as part of the Maintenance Services Team (after reaching 6 months of service).
  • Work within a professional services environment, prioritising tasks and delivering high-quality service.

Qualifications:

  • Recognised CITB Craft Apprenticeship as a Joiner.
  • Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ) in Carpentry and Joinery (Construction) at SCQF level 6 or equivalent.
  • Working understanding of minor works, alterations, refurbishments or new installations; significant experience in similar maintenance tasks within a complex estate.
  • Driving licence is essential as there is a requirement to drive University vehicles.
  • Willingness to join an emergency call-out rota and participate in 6 weeks out of the year as part of the role.

This post is full-time (35 hours per week plus 7.5 hours compulsory contractual overtime per week).
