About You

We are seeking a dynamic, entrepreneurial‑minded Student Enterprise Advisor to lead the delivery of BACK:ED, UEL’s flagship start‑up funding and support programme. You will manage a caseload of student entrepreneurs, providing one‑to‑one coaching, curriculum‑embedded enterprise sessions, and a weekly programme of workshops and activities. You will work closely with academic schools to embed enterprise education into students’ learning journeys, with a particular focus on freelancing, consultancy, and early‑stage venture creation.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of BACK:ED, the flagship start‑up funding and support programme.
  • Manage a caseload of student entrepreneurs through one‑to‑one coaching.
  • Provide curriculum‑embedded enterprise sessions and facilitate a weekly programme of workshops and activities.
  • Collaborate with academic schools to integrate enterprise education into students’ learning journeys.
  • Engage with incubators, investors, alumni entrepreneurs, and the broader start‑up ecosystem to connect students to networks and opportunities.
  • Contribute to data, reporting, and evaluation that underpins the institutional enterprise offer.

Qualifications:

  • Genuine passion for entrepreneurship and a proven track record supporting early‑stage founders or freelancers.
  • Comfortable delivering engaging workshops and working one‑to‑one with students at different stages of their journey.
  • Experience in programme leadership and student‑facing delivery.
  • Strong communication, organisational and networking abilities.
