We are looking to recruit a Registry School Academic Officer for the Registry School Service Team. The role supports the student experience and provides bespoke academic support to the Royal Docks School of Business and Law. The post holder will manage a portfolio of undergraduate and taught postgraduate courses, delivering a friendly, agile and responsive service to enable academics to deliver excellence in teaching.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Act as interface between school academic staff and Academic Registry.
  • Build and oversee module diets and timetabling.
  • Interpret and implement university-wide initiatives, processes and regulatory requirements at school level.
  • Develop strong working relationships with academic colleagues, team members and other professional service teams.
  • Provide cover for other team members and perform other duties within the scope of the role.

About You

Successful candidates have an A-Level standard (or equivalent) and a keen appreciation of providing a high level of customer service. They possess strong IT skills, excellent written and oral communication, and the ability to prioritise work effectively. They are committed to working as part of a team, with a flexible approach to delivering team results, and demonstrate initiative and creativity to resolve problems. Relevant experience supporting learning and teaching in Higher Education is advantageous.
