As an Academic Tutor you will contribute to the planning, management, and delivery of the academic curriculum, that meets the standards of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC): providing, developing and organising an innovative syllabus and course teaching: online and face-to-face; assessment of coursework, examinations, research, and clinical skills; admissions to the course, and our dedication to widening participation and access to the profession; supervising and undertaking research and knowledge exchange; supporting trainee, team, and your own professional and personal development.
We are looking for tutors with a qualification and substantial experience in clinical or counselling psychology, who are registered to practice with the HCPC. You will have substantial experience of clinical practice, and/or specialist training in an area of practice or research, and a passion for sharing your skills and knowledge with our trainees and colleagues. Previous experience of teaching, assessment, or supervision of post-graduate courses or clinical/counselling psychology trainees is desirable. You will be committed to join a learning community founded on equality of opportunity, critical-constructive thinking, and reflective practice.
