About The Job
The Lecturer/Senior Lecturer positions are based within the Computer Science and Digital Technologies (CDT) Department. Essential experience includes:
- Teaching experience in Higher Education
- Supervision of undergraduate and/or postgraduate project students
- In‑depth knowledge of CDT areas and specialist knowledge in cyber security, IoT, web/mobile development, software engineering, cloud computing, data science or AI
- Evidence of technology‑enhanced learning techniques
- For a Senior Lecturer: programme leadership, curriculum development, and impactful research outcomes
About You
You will hold an PhD in computer science or a closely related subject, and have a higher degree and/or significant industrial experience. You have proven teaching experience in an HE environment, innovate with creative strategies, adopt current pedagogy and use technology to enhance assessment. You are capable of producing impactful research for the Computing REF 2028 submission.
