About the School / Service:

IT Services is a centralised resource working collaboratively with the University community to transform UEL's digital world in line with the University’s Vision 2028 strategic plan. IT Services work closely with staff, students, partners, and other key collaborators to identify technological improvements to our learning and working environments.

About the Job:

  • Assist in the architecture for all service integrations throughout the organisation.
  • Ensure that services are integrated in a secure, reliable, standardised, and optimised manner.
  • Assist in the design for integration and database projects.
  • Create, maintain, and support any integration used by the organisation.
  • Manage service capacity, monitoring services regularly.
  • Architect and maintain diagrams and documentation for all databases and service integrations.

About You:

  • Help design, develop, monitor, and maintain data flows across UEL's ecosystem of over 70 systems and services.
  • Contribute to technical initiatives, ensuring high-performing, resilient service delivery.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team and department.
  • Ensure the security of database and integration technologies.
  • Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the University.
