The Commercial and Programme Delivery Directorate, led by the Chief Commercial Officer, sits at the heart of UEL's strategic ambitions, bringing together expertise across commercial strategy, procurement, programme delivery, strategic transformation and business development to drive the University's major initiatives and long-term growth agenda.
Combining strong governance, oversight, and delivery capability with deep commercial expertise, the Directorate enables the successful delivery of UEL's most significant and complex initiatives while also helping the University identify and realise new opportunities through strategic partnerships, innovative operating models, and diversified income streams.

About the Job The Programme Support Officer will play a key role in supporting the delivery of UEL's Student Record System (SRS) Transformation Programme, providing programme coordination, governance, and operational support across a large-scale transformation initiative.
Working closely with the Programme Manager, Project Manager and wider leadership team, you will help ensure the programme is effectively planned, governed, monitored and delivered, while driving collaboration, stakeholder engagement and programme assurance across multiple workstreams.
- Provide proactive programme delivery support, coordinating activities across multiple workstreams and ensuring actions are tracked through to completion.
- Maintain programme governance documentation, including RAID logs, decision logs, stakeholder registers, action trackers and reporting packs.
- Organise and support programme boards, governance meetings and workshops, preparing agendas, papers, minutes and follow‑up actions.
- Monitor programme progress and produce clear reports on delivery, risks, issues, budgets, resources and organisational readiness.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across academic, professional services and technical teams, supporting effective communication and engagement.
- Support risk, issue and dependency management, ensuring appropriate escalation and mitigation planning.
- Contribute to change management activities, helping coordinate stakeholder readiness and adoption across the transformation programme.
- Assist with programme budget monitoring, resource planning and forecasting to support successful programme delivery.
- You're a highly organised and proactive programme support professional with experience supporting complex projects or programmes in a fast‑paced environment.
You have excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple priorities, maintain accurate governance documentation and produce high-quality reports.
A collaborative team player with strong attention to detail, you thrive on keeping programmes running smoothly and are passionate about delivering positive change and continuous improvement.
