About The Job: The post holder will work in the Student Hub within the Student Services directorate, providing outstanding front-facing services, administrative and CRM support, and contact centre support for all student and staff queries across our three campuses. The role is situated in a shared office environment/front desk setting and requires a proactive, flexible, collegiate, and cooperative approach. Cover for other team members and other duties within the scope, spirit, and purpose of the job are also expected.

Main Areas Of Work:

  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure delivery of a high-performance, resilient service that meets institutional and statutory standards.
  • Staff the Student Hub service across all channels and handle the full range of student queries, diagnosing and resolving issues at first line and refocusing to specialist services when required.
  • Direct students to relevant drop-in services or schedule appointments.
  • Represent the Student Hub at various committees, including Course Committees.
  • Liaise with temporary staff in welcoming students, guiding them through services and offering support for self-service systems.

About You: Professionalism and personal integrity, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to network sensitively with staff and students. Strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the University to align processes and systems with business and statutory requirements. Good knowledge and experience of the student lifecycle, the types of support needs in HE, and the governance structures in place. Good organisational and time-management skills, the ability to work independently, and proven capability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines.
