Salary on appointment will be £24,344 per annum, with an annual increment up to £25,733 per annum.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Specialist Cleaning Team Leader to join the Estates Cleaning Department.
Key duties of the role include maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the University of East Anglia’s external areas. This role involves operating access platforms, working at height, pressure washing, and cleaning building facades to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. The role requires flexibility, including weekend work, to meet operational demands.
Qualifications in the use of platforms (IPAF) and pressure washing would be desirable but full training will be provided.
This full-time (36.25 hours per week) post is available immediately on an indefinite basis. Some Saturday morning work will be required as part of the role, with a maximum of 23 Saturdays per year.
UEA offers a variety of flexible working options and although this role is advertised on a full-time basis, we encourage applications from individuals who would prefer a flexible working pattern including annualised hours, compressed working hours, part time, job share, term-time only and/or hybrid working. Details of preferred hours should be stated in the personal statement and will be discussed further at interview.
