Starting salary from £36,622 per annum, dependent on skills and experience, with an annual increment up to £44,193 per annum.
We are looking for a Technical Engineer to provide expert technical knowledge in building fabric / carpentry to support our Maintenance team. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic and diverse environment, with everything from a world class art gallery to one of the largest Sports complexes in the country, enabling you to develop your skills and broaden your experience.
In this role, you’ll deliver operational support, conduct maintenance inspections and ensure compliance with statutory legislation. You’ll have an ONC in Engineering (or equivalent qualification or experience) along with experience of managing third party suppliers and you will hold your IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent) qualification. If you meet all the essential criteria in the person specification, we would love to hear from you!
You’ll be able to participate in a roster covering 6 Saturdays per year. In addition, overtime and call outs may be required. This full-time post is available immediately on an indefinite basis and is based at the University of East Anglia, Norwich, Norfolk, UK.
