The University of East Anglia in Norwich invites applications for a fully funded four-year PhD within the Norwich Research Park Biosciences Doctoral Training Programme. The project focuses on engineering Rhodopseudomonas palustris to enhance bioremediation and hydrogen production, supervised by Dr David Lea-Smith and partnered with Stellenbosch.
As part of NRPDTP, this studentship includes:
- tuition fee payment
- a 2026/7 stipend of £21,805
- a £5,000 per annum Research Training Support Grant
