An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced manager to join the Sportspark, University of East Anglia - one of the largest and most successful sports complexes in the UK.

Key duties of the role include leading and managing the Sportspark’s Quality Management System and Health & Safety policies, ensuring full compliance with all relevant legislation while maintaining consistently high standards of service delivery across the centre. In addition, you will take on operational leadership responsibilities, acting as Duty Manager and overseeing the wider facility as required.

We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and dedicated individual with a genuine passion for delivering an outstanding customer experience. You will bring excellent organisational, interpersonal, and customer service skills, supported by proven experience in supervising or managing within a sports centre environment, including wet and/or dry side facilities. You will demonstrate a diligent and detail-oriented approach, alongside a strong understanding of health and safety compliance within a leisure or sports environment.

Candidates should hold a degree (or equivalent qualification or relevant experience) in sport, leisure, or sport management, along with a current IOSH qualification (or equivalent qualification or experience or the ability to obtain this within two months of employment). A First Aid at Work qualification is essential, or the ability to achieve this within two months of appointment.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a key leadership role within a dynamic and high-profile facility, contributing to the continued success and safety of the Sportspark. This full-time post is available from 29 June 2026 on an indefinite basis.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and appointment will be subject to a criminal record check at Enhanced level from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
