Lead Learning Technologist role at University of East Anglia.

This full-time, fixed-term position is available from 30 October 2025 for up to 12 months.

Salary and terms

This range is provided by University of East Anglia. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience β€” talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Salary on appointment will be Β£38,784 per annum, with an annual increment up to Β£46,049 per annum.

Centre for Technology Enhanced Learning (CTEL) within the Library and Learning Enhancement Division has a wide remit covering services and systems for digital teaching, learning and assessment.

Responsibilities

  • Advise and support colleagues in their use of learning technology and create and deliver training materials.
  • Test, trial or evaluate technologies and contribute to the resolution of technical issues.
  • May include line management or peer leadership.
  • Focus initially on support and training, data and system administration, change management or digital content and course creation.

Requirements

You will be technically agile and have knowledge or experience of HE course design and course development, as well as teaching practice and assessment. You will be able to meet all essential criteria detailed in the candidate brochure.

Location: Norwich, England, United Kingdom.

Hours and working pattern: UEA offers flexible working options; this role is advertised as full-time but applications from those preferring flexible working (annualised hours, compressed hours, part-time, job share, term-time, and/or hybrid working) are encouraged. Contract: Fixed-term, up to 12 months.
