We are recruiting for an exceptional individual to join us as a part-time research technician within our Kobayashi Group, to support the day-to-day running of an academic research laboratory. This is a fixed-term appointment for an initial period of 24 months with the possibility of extension. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a research-active academic setting and to work closely with researchers and students as part of a collaborative team. Professional development and subject matter expertise
We are open to considering flexible working patterns.
Your priorities will include:
- Isolation and handling of mouse oocytes/embryos
- Microinjection of mouse oocytes/embryos
- Genotyping
- Preparation of media and buffers
- General molecular biology experiments (e.g. DNA and RNA purification)

- Prior experience in embryology and molecular cloning
- A candidate should be passionate about research and have a strong drive to contribute to scientific advancement
