Digital & Technology Services provide IT services and facilities for the University of Dundee across all campuses. The directorate provides services ranging from the provision of the university core network & datacentres through to client devices and provision of enterprise business systems.
We are recruiting for an exceptional individual to join us as a Service Delivery Manager within Business Services. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the Student Systems team, working closely with external partners. The team is responsible for maintaining & developing the University's core student systems which underpin the business processes associated with the applicant and student lifecycle.
Major components of the systems portfolio include Tribal (CRM, SITS/eVision), TechnologyOne (Timetabling), Room Service, and Alumni CRM. You will be working with varied IT Suppliers and University Departments/Schools to ensure that the applications meet evolving operational needs. The work is varied and interesting; no day is the same as the next.
Your priorities will include:
- Ensuring that the student systems meet the University's strategic and operational requirements.
- Improving the systems to achieve efficiencies and enable business areas to improve the accuracy of their data, acting as a trusted advisor to the business systems owners and key stakeholders.
- Providing leadership to the Student Systems team and to the management of change.
- Delivery of enhancements to the student systems within agreed time, cost, and quality constraints.

- Demonstrable experience in a management role within Digital Services or a similar team.
- Demonstrable track record of successfully implementing business change.
- Experience in streamlining processes and contributing to systems improvements.
- Ability to build strong relationships and work effectively with other teams to help deliver key projects and developments.
- Ability to manage complex and diverse workloads to tight deadlines.
