Applications are invited for the post of Clinical Research Fellow in Reproductive Medicine for a period of up to 42 months commencing as soon as possible. The appointee(s) must be GMC registered and will be expected to perform at a level equivalent to that of ST3 or above, with consultant supervision at all times.

The successful applicant will conduct clinical research into male fertility and is anticipated to register for a higher degree with the University of Dundee. This would be a self-funded (MD/PhD) degree.

The post is based in Ninewells Hospital and Medical School. The post holder will be based at Reproductive Medicine Research Group (RMRG) in the first 18 months, although there is an expectation that 1 session per week would be undertaken in the Assisted Conception Unit to develop and maintain clinical skills relating to infertility and medically assisted reproduction (MAR), as well as to facilitate patient recruitment.

After 18 months, there will be a shift in focus to development of clinical experience. The post holder will be based at Ninewells Assisted Conception Unit to primarily deliver clinical sessions in general infertility and assisted conception treatment, with 2 ring-fenced research sessions per week.
