This role will be based on site, primarily in the named location. Currently, this role offers the opportunity to work remotely, normally 1 day/s a week in line with our Adaptive Working Framework.

The College of Health and Humanities brings together two dynamic and diverse schools. The Work Health Hub is an integral industry engagement programme within this College, providing strong links with academic colleagues to explore additional funding and expand research activity.
About the Team
The Work Health Hub focuses on preventative and proactive approaches to health and wellbeing in the workplace, aiming to challenge stigma, promote early intervention and advocate for psychologically safe working environments.
Key responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for The Work Health Hub, including management of memberships, marketing, and the design and development of material for the hub platform.
- Write and publish the ‘Paper to People’ initiative that condenses research findings into accessible formats.
- Collate and coordinate data and information to measure impact of Hub initiatives, working with colleagues across the University.
- Nurture effective working relationships with business development staff across the institution.
- Support delivery of key workshops as part of an organisations action plan.
- Support key market engagement events throughout the year, promote the Work Health Hub and generate new business opportunities.
- Actively promote the Hub platform across social media platforms and produce regular posts to promote Hub activity and wellbeing initiatives.
- Create case studies to demonstrate impact, feeding into The Higher Education Business and Community Interaction Survey (HE-BCI) and Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2029.
Ideal candidate
The postholder will have been educated to A-Level standard (or equivalent significant work‑based experience) with GCSE level C or above in Maths and English. They should have experience working in an administration environment in a service setting (including minute taking), supporting projects, and promoting a programme or service across various networks.
Key skills include strong organisational, prioritisation and time‑management skills; excellent interpersonal and communication abilities; a keen attention to detail and effective proof‑reading; and the ability to compile, coordinate and produce key performance reports.

- Experience of working in an administration environment in a service setting (including minute taking)

- An understanding of the UK Mental Health & Well Being agenda and of the importance of positive mental health and wellbeing in the workplace
- The ability to compile, coordinate and produce key performance reports, where required
- Ability to design and develop new content and initiatives for the Hub
- Ability to maximise digital marketing opportunities including the use of social media
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Experience in dealing with both internal and external partners at all levels
- An approach that is flexible & adaptable, and able to support opportunities for the Hub to participate in research, demonstrate impact and influence policy
- Digital literacy and excellent computing skills, including Microsoft Office and administrative business systems
- Knowledge and understanding of data protection principles
