About the College/Department

Buxton and Leek College, part of the University of Derby, is graded as a "Good" college by OFSTED and has a team of dedicated staff who take pride in supporting learners towards their study and career goals. About the Role

We are a small and successful team looking to recruit an individual to teach on our Catering courses at our Buxton campus. This position is a full time position and will deliver culinary skills to study programme and adult learners across level 1, 2 and 3.

About You

You will need to be adaptable, creative and resourceful and will benefit from working in a rapidly growing department with other professionals using industry standard facilities and resources. You will need to hold or be willing to undertake a Level 3 teaching qualification e.g. BEd, Cert. Ed., DTLLs or equivalent. Hold Level 2 Qualifications (either in Functional Skills or GCSE A-C) in both English and maths or have a willingness to achieve these within an agreed timescale. You will also need to hold a relevant degree or professional qualification or equivalent.
