About the Role

The International Student Compliance team acts as the central function for ensuring governance and compliance with UKVI sponsorship requirements. This key role will assume responsibility for the operations within the team, including working within both the University and the UKVI policies and procedures, in order to provide advice and support to current and prospective international students on a wide range of practical issues including CAS issuance, visa advice, enrolment, on programme guidance, attendance, student finance, EU Settlement Status, Federal Loans to ensure that the university is fully compliant within the guidelines of UKVI sponsorship agreements. You will join a supportive and experienced team committed to continuous improvement and professional development. The role offers opportunities to deepen your expertise in UKVI compliance, student casework, data management and international student support. By maintaining accurate records, assessing CAS readiness, and supporting key processes such as enrolment and attendance monitoring, you will help protect the University from regulatory risk while enabling students to progress confidently through their academic journey. This is a position where your attention to detail, judgement and commitment to service will have a measurable impact on both individual student outcomes and the University’s global standing. This position is offered on a fixed-term basis to cover a period of maternity leave, with the contract due to end late August 2027. There may be the potential for the contract to be extended beyond this date, however this cannot be guaranteed.

The ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments to achieve shared goals is key to success in this role.
