About the College/Department
Our Campus Life and Student Living department is responsible for essential services that significantly impact the student experience. Campus Life is all about the various services that enhance the overall student experience, including sports, recreational facilities and community engagement. Whereas our Student Living teams ensure the safety, comfort and compliance of the University's residential estates. We are an award-winning accommodation provider and have won ‘Best University Housing in the UK and Ireland’ for the last 4 years in a row. About the Role
We're looking for a creative individual to help deliver an outstanding marketing and events experience across our halls of residence. This varied role combines marketing, communications and event delivery, giving you the opportunity to make a real impact on both prospective and current students. You'll play a key role in supporting major student recruitment activities, including Open Days and other flagship events, while creating engaging social media content that showcases life in our halls. You'll also design and deliver a vibrant programme of events and activities that helps students build connections, foster a sense of community, and make the most of their university experience. Based within the Student Living team, you'll work closely with colleagues across the University. You'll spend part of each week with the External Relations team, collaborating on wider marketing initiatives and ensuring halls are effectively represented within the University's recruitment and communications campaigns.
About You

- Experience of planning and delivering successful marketing campaigns, with the ability to create engaging content that connects with a range of audiences.
- Experience of planning and delivering activities and events programmes, creating inclusive and memorable experiences for participants.
- Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with students, colleagues and external partners.
- Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work to deadlines and deliver high-quality outcomes.
- The ability to plan and prioritise your own workload, work collaboratively with others, and adapt to changing priorities when required.
