About the PCSM Partnership
The University of Cumbria and Imperial College London have formed a partnership to open the Pears Cumbria School of Medicine (PCSM). The first students joined the 4-year post graduate MBBS programme in 2025/26. Applying the University of Cumbria's experience in training nurses, midwives and other professions allied to medicine, alongside Imperial's expertise in medical education, the School's aim is to train doctors who are embedded in their local community ready to contribute to services across the region and beyond.
Role and Responsibilities
- As Programme and Assessment Officer you will have responsibility for the day to day planning and delivery of all operational aspects for two-years of the MBBS medical degree programme, working closely with the academic team and with support from a Programme and Assessment Officer working on the other two-years of the MBBS and the Programme Administrator.
- You will take a key role in identifying, planning and implementing our approach to programme and assessment administration.
- You will need to have a strong focus on providing excellent customer service to PCSM academic staff and students, ensuring that students are well supported.
