Post: 2-year fixed term post at London Ambulance Service (LAS), delivering the University of Cumbria's BSc (Hons) in Paramedic Science to LAS members of staff undertaking the Paramedic Science Degree Apprenticeship.
Location: London (may require travel to neighbouring Trusts)
Key responsibilities:
Work with LAS academic team to deliver curriculum and support learners in the Paramedic Science Degree Apprenticeship.
Support delivery of pre-hospital education modules, ensuring alignment with course objectives and learning outcomes.
Assist in the design, assessment, and evaluation of teaching materials.
Accurately record student progress and provide timely feedback.
Engage in professional development activities, including support to complete a postgraduate certificate in learning and teaching if not already achieved.
Qualifications and experience:
Appropriately registered healthcare professional with experience working in pre-hospital environment.
Experience delivering ambulance-based pre-hospital education or higher education healthcare education.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Evidence of proven teaching or training ability.
Commitment to inclusive practice and support for diverse learners.
Compensation and benefits:
£38,784 with incremental progression to £43,482 plus London weighting (£4,854.00 per annum)
35 days' annual leave plus bank holidays.
25 academic activity days.
