The Sports Facilities are a focal point on each campus, offering a friendly, vibrant and fast-moving working environment. Carlisle Sports Centre offers a wide range of health and wellbeing initiatives, including sport and physical fitness activities to our university and wider public community.
Using your previous experience of working in a customer-facing role, you will meet and welcome visitors at all levels and deliver an excellent service to customers of the facility. The workload will be diverse and interesting consisting of both academic and recreational programmes.
This role will provide opportunity for an enthusiastic candidate who is passionate about health, fitness and wellbeing to work with colleagues to enhance the campus vibrancy. This position will be part time, 20 hours per week over 39 weeks of the academic year. The shifts will be varied on a rota basis and determined by the types of activities running, this may include mornings, evenings and occasional weekends.
We offer a comprehensive set of staff benefits which includes a competitive salary, 35 hour full-time working week, 33 days holiday plus bank holidays, hybrid working in line with business need, and an excellent pension scheme with 8% employer contribution.
