The Campus Assistant serves as the first point of contact for students, staff, and visitors at the combined Student Enquiry Point (StEP) and Campus Reception desk. This role is pivotal in ensuring a professional, welcoming, and efficient front-facing service, directly contributing to the smooth operation of the Barrow Campus.

With a strong emphasis on customer service excellence, the post holder will work within defined service standards to deliver a consistently high-quality experience for all campus users. By providing clear guidance and effective support, they will play a crucial role in fostering a positive campus environment.

As a key member of the student services team, the StEP Assistant will provide essential support across Student Services, Library Services, Academic Registry, Estates, and Campus Services. Their role will be integral to the seamless delivery of student and academic support services, ensuring that the University’s high service standards are upheld.
