We are seeking an experienced and motivated Student Enquiry Point Coordinator to join our Student Services team at our Ambleside campus.

About the Role

This is a key, front-facing role supporting the effective day-to-day operation of the Student Enquiry Point. You will ensure students receive timely, accurate and supportive guidance while helping to coordinate service delivery across campus.

  • Act as a central point of expertise for complex student enquiries
  • Work with the Gateway Manager to support and guide Campus Assistants, contributing to team coordination and service quality
  • Work collaboratively across university services to deliver seamless student experience
  • Drive service improvements and contribute to a welcoming, well-managed campus environment

About You

We are looking for a candidate with strong customer service expertise and a passion for supporting students, alongside experience of Higher Education and its student support services, this is essential for success in the role.

  • Have significant experience in student services, customer service or a related environment
  • Demonstrate an understanding of student support processes and needs within higher education
  • Experience of university, its operations and student community
  • Be confident handling complex or sensitive enquiries with professionalism and empathy
  • Have experience supporting or supervising colleagues and contributing to a high-performing team
  • Be proactive, organised and committed to delivering excellent service

Working Arrangements

This position is based on-site at our Ambleside campus due to its practical, hands-on, and student-facing responsibilities. The successful candidate will be expected to work their contracted hours across the week, while maintaining flexibility to provide additional cover when required to support operational needs.

We are looking to appoint someone as soon as possible to ensure sufficient time for induction and training ahead of the start of the 2026 academic year in September.
